Down Antigone went, into the cave, to die. But she was not to starve or
suffocate; no, she took her own life. Haemon too, upon finding her there,
could no longer bear to live. And Creon? Creon eventually realized that
he had made a mistake, but it was too late. What was left of his life was
solitude and misery.
