This proposed program aims to provide outlets and tools for young philosophers to become more expressive and critical thinkers, performers, and citizens who take responsibility for the characters they are in both the most demanding and even the most mundane of activities, in public and private. Evaluation of this impact will focus on what the students feel they are taking away from the experience over the course of the program. Do they, in fact, find this approach to be suited to their natural philosophical inclinations? Do they find this approach gives them a better understanding of what it can mean to live a thoughtful and responsible life? Are they having fun, and do they find continued training in the craft of life attractive? Students may perform their evaluations of themselves, their peers, and their instructors using a number of media. In addition, the instructors will continuously evaluate the performance and progress of students. These evaluations will be made while the program is in progress, and will affect program operations.
