Sue Blundell is an associate lecturer in Classical Studies at the Open University in the UK, and a tutor at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. Her published work includes Women in Ancient Greece (British Museum and Harvard, 1995) and (as co-editor with Margaret Williamson) The Sacred and the Feminine in Ancient Greece (Routledge, 1998). One of her current research interests is the representation of clothing in Greek art, and her article on the symbolism of Greek shoes will be published by Berg in 2006 as part of a collection on the cultural meaning of shoes.

Marc-André Beauchamp iluminati_marc@hotmail.com: I am in my second year university, and we are looking at some of the work in our Ancient Greece class, and one of our Texts is Sue Blundells "Women in Ancient Greece". I would just like to say it is a very very interesting book. And used a lot through out our discussions in class.
