A pre-written scenario for an rpg. In a module, some aspects of an initial IC situation, the player characters, the setting, setting characters, and potential events are specified. A module is used by a group of roleplayers who do not wish to create a game from scratch. Thus, many different groups can play the same module and, depending on how they render the characters differently, can get very different outcomes. A Host A Murder game is an example of a module.
