Knights depart to search for the Grail
The quest for the Holy Grail is one of the best-known stories of Arthurian legend. The much sought-after artefact, the Grail itself, was said to have been used by Jesus himself at the Last Supper; it also caught his blood as he was crucified. Because of this, it was said to be able to rejuvinate the injured, so it was always a glorious prize.
Time and again, Arthur sent his most daring and loyal knights from the Round Table to search for the Grail. Many perished during their searches. Sir Guy stumbled upon Dunstanburgh, found it haunted by ghosts, and faced a completely different adventure than finding the Grail - he himself haunts the castle to this day after making a fateful mistake.
The knights who successfully track down the Grail were Parsifal, Galahad, and Bors. They found the Grail in the possession of the Fisher King, and after much peril brought it back to Camelot and Arthur.
