Archetypal Characters

The backbone of many famous legends - almost "stock characters" because the audience already knows what to expect from those personalities.

The same characters come up in different forms and reincarnations, but the underyling traits are the same.

Those traits are based in truth - everyone can see something of themselves in one archetypal character or another, so it's easy to relate to them.

- Mage/Wizard

- Knight:
- King:
- Lady/Queen:
- Villain:

And of course, the legends surrounding King Arthur are full of these archetypal characters - nearly every major player in the Arthurian dramas can be marked as an archetype.

Archetypal Places

Places can be equally as meaningful as characters.

As with the characters, each place already has a set of connotations the audience will know.

- The Ocean

- Castle

- Forest
