I am a freshman at Stanford who has a passion for Catalina island and rotating sushi bars. I swim sprint freestyle on the stanford women's team; I don't have a major yet, but I am interested in biology, bioanthropology, archaeology, and classics...and not surprisingly, I have no idea what I want to do when I grow up.

I'm living in a tiny double in Lagunita Court, next to Roble and across from a big field. Email: amerz@stanford.edu.

I have a slighty morbid fascination with photographing abandoned houses and farms. The only classic ruins I've ever seen are those in Rome, and they were awesome. I'd like to see more. Open spaces inspire me, and I love contrast. The ocean is the love of my life, but I get seasick anyway.

My computing skills are limited, ergo, there are no pictures here yet. But when I find a way to navigate the confusing, twisted, and elusive pathways of resizing images in iPhoto, there will be more stuff here :)
