Ten Things 2006: Pr...
This is my amazingly old microwave oven that came inside my amazingly old house in Menlo Park. This device has no buttons on it, only dials, and actually contains all of the controls for the stove top and oven that is bellow it. This therefore literally becomes the center of my kitchen whether someone is using the microwave to "nuke" something or whether someone is actually trying to cook something. If one of those rare occasions when one of my room mates or I is actually trying to cook something the microwave is usually used to defrost whatever meat is being cooked or is used to heat up the seasoning/topping that might be used on top of the cooked item. I would definatly not be able to eat at my home unless I had this device and I believe that this is the case for most of the population, at least in the US. I hope to divulge more of this in the rest of my project
I would like to start a base of the unpacking process by using a few of the basic starting points that Chris mentioned in his lecture on unpacking maps.

You love it like a fat kid loves..... Microwavable Meals
Actually this image depicts almost perfectly the type of "mobility" the microwave has of which I speak of in the "space" section of my Starting to Unpack page. Thanks for a great example.
