Dave Daly: There's an article in the newest edition of American Scientist about the redesign of the Oakland Bay Bridge. Most of us (I'd imagine) have been across the span at least once or twice during our time at the Farm. There's a that includes the 1989 Loma Prieta quake and so forth, as well.

Cynthia Querio: I love this topic!! As a native of the Bay Area and more specifically of Oakland I know what a large part the bridge plays in the life of the cities it connects. I think there is alot you can look into with this artifact.
