Scouting for images for Photographing the Garage Sale by Sara Orenstein.

These are preliminary photographs that were taken in order to get a sense of what kind of images I want, of what works and what doesn't work for my project. I feel that the images with people in them work best. While the images of lone items do show detail, I think placing these items next to others would make the details more interesting and informative by bringing out contrasts and comparisons.
