Found this on a photo website, and the wooden boards reminded me of the Briones house (see other link). I love the contrast between house and sky, and house and grass; the stark black boards stand out against the patchy sky and bleached grass - a permanent fixture compared with the ever changing natural earth. Or time. Or maybe the black is a harbinger or doom, the deathly mark we've left on our praries. Regardless, I think its a cool picture.
